Apologies, a former employee still had access to this account and posted a fake update as a form of retaliation.  They are not affiliated with us in any way, and we have changed our passwords to ensure they no longer have access to make any further attacks.

Overdue update! Welcome to Mt. Scatter. Dare you climb it?

So, we're long overdue on an update, and we wanted to give you guys a quick shot of the progress we've made, especially on the 3D printed scatter.

So I present to you, Mount Scatter, bordered by the Bookshelf Hills.

We've gone through a LOT of filament making the scatter, and that stack of wood is all bookshelves (because apparently you guys went NUTS for them!  Bookshelves were the number 1 most selected add-on item!)

We're currently working on separating the scatter into groups, so that it can be packaged with appropriate pieces (such as scrolls and books for the huge amount of bookshelves!) and we are also working on instruction videos for how to assemble the various pieces in the kits.

We've got a lot going on with vending currently as well, having done two very good events recently, and prepping for another at the start of July, so be sure to follow our social media to see where we're going to be next!

We've also made improvements to the floor system, which was originally veneer tiles (which could bend and break easily).  We're changing the system to be an entire wooden floor as a solid piece, with vinyl magnetic tiles for "not wood" (grass, stone paths, etc..) since it's much easier to cover the areas that are NOT a part of the tavern, than it is to reassemble the entire tavern floor for each layout.  This will give you a lot more consistency in your builds and make them faster to rearrange for different campaign settings (or just for a pub crawl!!!)

We'll do an update showing the new floor system once we have that perfected, as well as a teaser of some of the instructional videos that will go up on our youtube channel.

Aside from that, the good news is that we do seem to be on track to deliver as early as october now, so that we can try to beat our November deadline and ensure all overseas backers also have their kits by the end of the year at the latest.  It's always nice when you can beat a shipping deadline by a month, so we're going to aim for that!!

Hey everyone!  Thank you to everyone who has already submitted your backerkit surveys!  We appreciate the quick responses, and for anyone who has not already gotten to it, check your emails for a message from Backerkit in case you missed it!  There will be a reminder email sent out automatically after 30 days, but we can also link you directly if you're having trouble finding it (simple message us here and we will take care of that for you!)

We'd also like to spread this link in case you have any friends who missed out on the campaign, but might be interested in joining our pre-order fulfillments!  They can get the same deal that was given to kickstarter backers (aside from the early bird special of course), and will receive their kits immediately after fulfillment to backers is complete (you guys get first in line because you're just awesome like that!)

I did want to address an issue with a missing discount for additional items.  In our campaign we had mentioned that additional items would be "$2 each, or 6 for $10" and someone was quick to let us know that the discount did not process automatically through backerkit.  We thought there was a way to set that up but we were wrong, and we wanted to assure everyone that we still fully intend to honor the discount as it was stated in the campaign.

We can do it one of two ways.  We can refund $2 for every 6 additional items ordered, or we can throw in 2 additional items (doubling the discount, since this is honestly even easier for us).  For everyone who ordered 6 or more additional items, we will contact you directly once we have all the backerkit surveys and we begin processing all the totals for our production run!

Holiday Update and Backerkit Plans!

We hope everyone had a good holiday so far, and looking forward to a very dull, uneventful, almost forgettable 2022 (I'm setting the bar low, universe, come on now....)

We are putting the finishing touches on our backerkit, trying to give you guys as many good options as we can without overloading you (don't want to get into analysis paralysis when choosing your pledge options).  We're also going to include some bonus options for anyone who wants an extra item from our online shop at a discount for being such wonderful backers and helping us out with our first kickstarter!

We're getting ready to do a final test run of our system on the laser and test fit all the pieces.  We'll be sure to take some photos and video clips to post to social media and give you guys an update so you can start to see what the final product will look like!  We'll also be taking photos for an assembly guide that you'll be able to follow to help you put together your first tavern!

Thank you all so much for all of your support!!

Now on to the next step!

We are going to spend the next few weeks putting together all of the options in our backerkit survey.  When we launch the surveys, you will be able to select any available options including adding additional items you would like to the standard Tavern set you've already pledged for.  There will be a full price sheet available for all of the additional items available.

After you've selected all of your options, the backerkit survey will also calculate shipping cost and give you a total (minus what you have already pledged of course) for any additional items or shipping costs you've chosen.  

Keep an eye out for updates, since we may have a few questions or options available to everyone.  In the meantime, if there's any special requests you'd like to see as an available option, this is a great time to tell us!  Feel free to post a comment on this update for all to see so we can get an idea of any last minute changes you would like before we send the surveys!
